DESCRIPTION:Join us for the October Chamber Luncheon\, sponsored by Huffman Hunt & Klym.\n\n \n\nPlease join us on Thursday\, October 27\, 2022 with our guest speaker\, Kelsey Loushin\, presenting "Leading with Intention". \n\n\n\nHave you ever asked yourself . would I follow me?\n\nMost people in leadership are unaware of how those they lead really view them. They walk through their day with a checklist of what must get done without building in meaningful encounters that can result in improved engagement and overall company improvement. Our leadership styles evolve through the culmination of experiences in our personal and professional lives. Leaders who intentionally lead are consciously aware of the needs of others and consistently work to better understand themselves to better understand and support others. We will discuss characteristics of intentional leaders and specific steps and methods we can implement to enhance our own leadership styles.\n\n\n\nRegister in advance to select your meal choice. \n\n\n\nMeal selections include:\n\nChicken Paprikash\n\nCobb Salad\n\nPotato Pierogies with Cabbage and Noodles\n\nVegetable Plate [Vegan/Gluten Free]\n\n\n\nGet to know Kelsey!\n\nKelsey has been providing counseling\, coaching and professional training services for various healthcare organizations\, private companies\, and Employee Assistance Programs for over 25 years. She has a B.A. from Kent State University in Individual and Family Studies\, is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Supervisory credentials (LICDC-CS)\, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)\, Certified Leadership Coach\, Certified Retirement Coach\, grief educator and group facilitator and a trained mediator. In 2002\, she launched Eldercare Professionals of Ohio\, LLC\, a geriatric care management company educating and supporting caregivers\, consumers\, and professionals.  The company operates three divisions\; professional networking services\, professional education and training services and care-giver coaching services. Since 1998\, Kelsey has actively participated with the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. She is currently the co-chair of their Work Life Committee and the chairperson of their Website Committee.  Since 2000\, Kelsey actively supported the Cuyahoga County Conference on Aging planning committee. She is also a Board member for the Southwest Community Health System. Since 2010 she has organized an annual silent auction to support Cornerstone of Hope\, a non-profit dedicated to those who are grieving. Kelsey is the proud parent of her daughter Alyssa. Kelsey's athletic interests are integrated into her business through her participation in organized sports to raise funds for non-profit organizations such as The Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.
