DESCRIPTION:Lutheran High School West invites the local community to its Rocky River campus on Friday\, October 14\, 2022 for a "kick-off event" centering around the start of demolition on the Medical West Building / Westgate Professional Building adjacent to the school's campus. \n\n \n\nThe Cleveland Lutheran High School Association (CLHSA)\, which manages Lutheran West and Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights)\, purchased the property in July 2019.\n\n\n\nThe current school year marks the highest student enrollment in Lutheran West's history\, as well as the first year the school has offered grades 6-8. An upcoming capital campaign\, named Forward in Faith\, will seek to grow enrollment to 800 students in grades 6-12 while simultaneously expanding the campus facilities and the school's programmatic offerings. \n\n \n\nFollowing the completion of the demolition of the building in the coming weeks\, school administration will share more details regarding plans for future construction and expansion.\n\n \n\nOn Friday\, October 14\, community members can see the initial passes at demolition of the building by construction equipment. School leadership will make remarks\, and Lutheran West will then host a home football game versus Independence. Game time is 7:00 PM and tickets can be purchased at https://www.lutheranwest.com/tickets.
