    Infant Room Teacher
    The Goddard School®, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking a qualified Teacher in our Infant Room working with children 6 weeks to 18 months. We are looking for fun and energetic caregivers who can multi-task in a lively environment, work well within a team and truly love caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers!

    Daily Responsibilities
    A teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for helping to establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally, an assistant teacher is responsible for working with a lead teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.
    A teacher’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
    Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence
    • Adapt program to meet the individual needs of each child through interactions that support play, exploration and learning
    • Present age- and developmentally-appropriate expectations for all children
    • Encourage creativity through art, music, dramatic play and blocks
    • Integrate GSI-approved resources (including Enrichment Programs) into lesson plans
    Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
    • Plan and implement activities to develop children’s self-esteem and social skills
    • Plan and implement activities to enable children’s feeling of security
    • Encourage empathetic and respectful feelings for others, as well as the environment, through positive modeling
    Teacher Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or Associates' Degree in ECE or education or related field
    • Prior childcare experience
    • Pursuing degree
    • Lead teacher must have prior experience with infants and toddlers
