  • Arbor Day Tree Trek

  • Arbor Day celebrates trees and all they do for us. Trees have been planted since the beginning of civilization, and the Arbor Day holiday in the United States dates back to 1872! The Arbor Day Foundation has created a wonderful guidebook with history and resources on the holiday. Click here to read that resource.

This year, the City of Rocky River in partnership with the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce, is excited to offer you an Arbor Day “Tree Trek!” In December, 22 Chamber members sponsored holidays trees that decorated the campus at City Hall. These trees were balled and have been waiting until Spring to be planted in our community.

Starting on May 4 - you have the opportunity to locate these trees and their sponsor signs. On the back of each sponsor sign is a letter. These letters spell a fun phrase!

Can you find the 22 trees and complete the  word scramble?!

    CONTEST DETAILS:

2.) Locate the letter on the back of each sign

3.) Record the letters as you find each tree
