In 2011, Anne Kuenzel was working in marketing at Lakewood Hospital and wanted to expand her community outreach efforts beyond the city of Lakewood. She decided to join the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce and immediately got involved. Soon, Kuenzel was promoted to the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital Wellness Center located on Wooster Road, and her involvement only increased within our organization.
 
Kuenzel serves as the manager of community education and is responsible for program development at the Wellness Center. Since joining the Chamber, Kuenzel has been very engaged with fellow members at the events, including serving as a registration volunteer at our monthly luncheons and as an exhibitor at the annual Business Expo. “I’ve always loved being a part of the Expo. The energy in the room is palpable and connecting on a one-on-one level with other professionals is a great way to spend an afternoon,” she shares.
 
She also serves on the Expo and Public Service Committees and assisted with marketing efforts for the website’s redesign and Selection Committee for the Chamber's new Executive Director this past Fall. Kuenzel’s role within the Chamber has grown over the years, she now serves on the Board of Directors, previously as Secretary and now is in her first year as Board Chair.
 
“I feel as though I have been blessed with a second family who offer support and motivate me to do more and give back,” Kuenzel shares.
 
FUN FACTS about Anne: Anne is a lifelong resident of the Westshore area, growing up in Cleveland’s West Park neighborhood, raising her family in Lakewood and moved to Westlake seven years ago to age gracefully in a 1959 ranch. She may live here, but she’s managed to visit 40 of the 50 states [so far!] and is a voracious reader, having a minimum of three books on my nightstand at all times.
