Director, T3 Performance
Connect with Eric!
In 2009, T3 Performance opened their doors, welcoming athletes of all ages and sports to join their “fitness family.” They launched to help athletes reach their goals by working hard AND smart to maximize their performance.
T3 Performance is located in Avon and trains athletes from 6 years old to adults! T3 Performance Director, Eric Cook, joined the Chamber 2016 after being encouraged to do so by a member, Meredith Hardington. “She introduced me to a lot of new faces…everyone was so warm and welcoming, I knew I had to be part of this Chamber,” Cook shared.
Since joining, T3 Performance has been an active member, participating in the Business Expo annually and attending monthly luncheons. Cook says “for me, the most enjoyable part of the chamber are the monthly luncheons because I enjoy sitting with different people and learning about what they do for a living.”
As for the Business Expo, Cook encourages everyone to get involved; he enjoys the afternoon connecting with the community and especially other exhibitors at the event. “Having the opportunity to discuss T3 with new people is great, as well as networking with the other vendors. We have done solid business and cross promotion with companies we met at the Expo,” Cook shares.
Cook is passionate about what he does at T3 Performance. He is a proud Avon Lake and Mount Union alum; playing sports through college, and subsequently having 4 back surgeries, led him into his current profession at T3 Performance as Director. He trains and inspires both athletes and adults, perfecting how people move and helping them to move better to help their health and happiness His experience in sports is what motivated him to work with athletes, sharing he wants to help them “so they never make the training mistakes I made.”
FUN FACTS about Eric: He lives in Avon with my wife, Ashley [the strongest and most patient and support person in his life!] with their dog and cat. They enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, Tough Mudders and tri/duathlons.
In his free time, Eric is a mentor for high risk teens, as part of the “Drug Free Club of America” set up through EHOVE school in Milan, OH. He works on academic success, job readiness, and financial independence, as well as abstain from drugs & alcohol.
In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for the children’s non-profit “Smiles with Style”. Smiles provides reprieve from hospital life for children through mini-makeovers.
