She is making history! Be a part of it and check out Cleveland's first bottle refill shop, the Better World Refill Shop! Rachel Regula is dedicated to helping the community reduce their plastic waste. She has opened a shop with the sole purpose of refilling your own containers with natural products, offering sustainable options for everyday living.

“Our shop is the first of its kind to the Cleveland area!” Rachel shares. “While the refill concept has been popular and thriving in Europe and other parts of the United States, Cleveland and surrounding areas are just now being introduced to refilling and embracing a circular economy. We are excited for the future as this is just the beginning!”

Opening a small business can be challenging, but she stays motivated her customers! Constantly searching for new ways to be mindful and lead a waste-free lifestyle [both personally and professional], Rachel says her customers educate her, often, just as much as she educates our community. “It brings me joy when a customer is able to come in and share their sustainability story with me and I learn something new every day from them!”

Rachel recently joined the Rocky River Chamber as a very proud fifth-generation Rocky Riverite! Her family has a long history of being active and passionate within the community, and she plans to follow in these footsteps. “I found it very important to join Rocky River Chamber of Commerce and contribute to the many resources they provide the community and local businesses,” Rachel expresses.

As a new member, she is excited to connect with more members and someday, looks forward to attending the Chamber’s monthly luncheons when we are in person again. “At an early age, I remember my grandmother, Ruth Regula, attending Chamber luncheons and learning more about the community that she loved so much,” Rachel shares. “As a small business owner, I find it important to create meaningful relationships with other community business member so that our community is able to continue to thrive.”

FUN FACTS about Rachel :: Rachel graduated from Rocky River High School in 2010 and Baldwin Wallace University in 2018. She held a long-term internship with US Senator Portman’s Northeastern Ohio District Office which helped her cultivate her love for Northeast Ohio and public service. In additional, she also worked for The Walt Disney Company at Walt Disney World and learned world-class customer service which she has implemented into Better World Refill Shop!
