• Our Path Forward

As our community opens back up, the Chamber looks forward to finding our "new normal." The health and safety of our members and the City of Rocky River are our #1 priorities. We sincerely miss hosting our events, big and small, to network and build relationships in person, however we want to do what best for everyone.

We have reached out to the venues, sponsors, and event partners which we have the good fortune of working with annually. Some are able to accommodate our events this year, but have requests we must follow to keep everyone safe. At this time, we are asking for your help to navigate our next steps through the remainder of 2020.

We hope to see our calendar return to "normal" in 2021; but, until then, we thank you for your support from afar.
Would you feel comfortable attending a Chamber Luncheon this year? IF the Chamber would host the remainder of scheduled luncheons, Westwood Country Club would confidently follow all guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health. There would be a limited number of guests able to attend, tables would be spaced 6ft apart [with only six people at each table], and masks would be worn by staff and encouraged for attendees. *
In an effort to stay connected, would you be interested in attending a virtual Chamber Luncheon? We would still bring in a guest speaker to present to the group and create breakout rooms to network with up to seven other member, just like sitting at a traditional luncheon table of eight guests! *
Would you feel comfortable attending a Chamber Happy Hour this year? IF the Chamber would host a Happy Hour, it would look a bit different than past events. For example, we would require RSVPs as the number of guests would be limited, upon arrival, guests would take a seat and remain at their seat for the time they attend, tables would be spaced 6ft apart, and masks would be work by staff and encouraged for attendees. There would not be an opportunity to "mingle" or "congregate" in a bar area or from table-to-table. *
In an effort to stay connected, would you be interested in attending a virtual Happy Hour if the Chamber hosted another one? *
Would you feel comfortable attending the Chamber Christmas Party this year? IF the Chamber would host a Christmas Party, the festivities would be quite different and similar to the event details for a Happy Hour. *
In an effort to stay connected, would you be interested in attending a virtual Speed Networking event? *
The Chamber has made the difficult decision to postpone the 18th Annual Business Expo, originally scheduled on Thurs., Oct. 8, 2020. Expo will NOW be held on Thurs., April 29, 2021. There will not be a second Expo in Fall 2021 - therefore, we anticipate an extra large turnout in April. Would you like information on sponsoring or exhibiting at this event? *
